Capital One miles (Venture and Spark, depending on the card type) can be transferred to numerous Airline and Hotel rewards programs regardless of whether or not you have a “premium” card. One no-fee card is the Capital One VentureOne Rewards Credit Card (learn more here.)

Point transfers are 1-way only, so transfer only when you are ready to book a specific trip and have confirmed availability.

Be sure to check point valuation. Travel can always be “erased” from your account statement at a value of 1.0¢/pt and travel can also be booked directly through Capital One’s Travel Portal. Only transfer if you are getting better value! Travel purchased through the American Express travel portal will also earn points and status, unlike award bookings.
